Bad SEO Assumptions…

Monday, June 30th, 2008

There are two things people need to learn that can catapult their online results to levels they really can’t even imagine:

1) How to write good emails for their lists, and
2) How to use search engine optimization (SEO) to your advantage

But here’s the thing…most people think that second one is beyond them. That’s because they make two bad assumptions.

**************************************************
BAD ASSUMPTION #1: SEO IS HARD
**************************************************

First, they assume SEO is too hard to do. They think they’ll have to burn the midnight oil to do everything they’ll need to do to make any difference.

Actually, that’s not true. In fact, SEO is pretty darn easy once you know the few things you need to do to get outsized results. That’s really the “magic”, if there is any at all–knowing what to focus on is what counts.

BAD ASSUMPTION #2: SEO TAKES A LONG TIME
**************************************************

Second, they assume SEO takes forever. I used to think this myeslf. I used to imagine spinning my wheels for months, sweating through the grunt work to optimize my site.

But here’s a lesson you need to learn…

If you focus on the right things, you can see SEO results in what feels like no time at all. It won’t happen overnight, but easily within a month or two you can see yourself on Page One of Google for your main keywords.

I have a whole network of top ranked sites, from content sites that teach people about chakra treatments to affiliate portals I use to promote Harv Eker products and Net 10 Phones. And odds are I’m no smarter than you!

**************************************************
WANT THESE RESULTS FOR YOURSELF?
**************************************************

I used to make the above bad assumptions myself. The important thing is to let them go and open up to the simple truth.

Last year I wrote a book called Lucid SEO. It was a wildly successful product that helped a lot of people improve their SEO results. Just recently my associate David Congreave has revised this program to make it even more powerful.

I’ve never seen anything like it. It walks through EXACTLY what you need to do to get SEO results that’ll make other people wonder how in the world you did it so fast.

This isn’t your typical fluffy book that tells you to “Take Action!!!!” or “Dream BIG!!!” Those are fine things, but you also need the details of what to do to start reaping the rewards for yourself.

If you want to start seeing massive SEO results, and the flood of free traffic that you’ll get when you hit the Top 10 for your main keyword, then you need to check out this book.

It’s not live yet, but you can see at this link just why people are already screaming for David and his partner Roy to open the doors again.

You should definitely take a minute and check this out. If you really want good search engine position it’s just a click away.

The Gold Rush Is Over Part 2

The Internet Gold Rush Is Over…

But you can still make a great living online if you know how to target tight niches. This is the real key to prosperity as an Internet marketer.

And if that’s true why should you even bother with an Internet marketing business? Why not just log off now and turn on the T.V.?

I admit it: there’s more to the story than what I’ve told you up to this point.

Yes the “gold rush” period is over. But there’s still more than enough room for you and thousands of other people to make a fortune online.

It’s just that today’s Internet marketplace requires a slightly different approach. What worked in 2001 just won’t cut it today. It’s a matter of either learning what it takes to thrive in the face of massive competition or making the mistake of jumping right into the free-for-all and getting pummeled.

The reason so many Internet marketers fall flat on their face and then tell the world that “online marketing is a scam” is simple: They try to penetrate a market that is beyond saturated. They aren’t able to compete with the thousands of other desperate marketers who are battling tooth and nail for position.

The result, of course, is failure to make their first dollar and extreme disappointment. But they didn’t have the advantage that you have.

It’s all about understanding niches.

The word “niche” sure gets kicked around a lot these days. But few people actually understand what it means.

There’s a big difference between a market and a niche. Failing to understand this difference can result in time wasted, money lost, and possibly even a good “crying jag” as our friends in the UK would say.

I wrote a good article about niche marketing recently. Check it out here.

Your Financial Blueprint

Monday, June 16th, 2008

A lot of people don’t realize it, but each of us has an internal blueprint for the way we think about money and success. And often, a person can be doing a lot externally to create success while sabotaging themselves on the inside.

I’ll give you an example: I know a married couple who moan and complain all year long about money. The husband works very hard at a high-paying job but they’re lousy at managing their money. both of them swear if they could just “get a break” they would be able to get ahead.

Here’s where it gets interesting: I’ve seen them receive tax returns and other windfalls of over $5,000, only to completely squander the money and end up in more debt than before they had it!

It’s like all those people who win the lottery and end up on wellfare two years later. the truth is it doesn’t matter what we have externally as long as internally we don’t feel worthy of or able to handle wealth.

T. Harv Eker, in his amazing book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind does a great job of discussing the wealth blueprint, and how each person can recognize, change, and control their internal thoughts and feelings toward money. I know in my life until I got clear of my inner turmoil it made no difference what I did on the outside… I remained broke!

I highly recommend this reading or audio course for anyone who is working hard but not gaining ground on their trek toward success. For less than $16 you could begin to change your life forever.
