The Ultimate Affirmation

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

If you don’t currently use affirmations you should start right away. This simple exercise is a great way to program your unconscious mind and create very real change in your life.

And the ultimate affirmation, in my opinion, goes something like this…

“I feel great! I am 100% happy and filled with joy in this moment!”

Here’s the thing: This moment is all we have. And we can choose to be happy or not.

Being happy right now in this moment is the ultimate expression of personal power. If you can do this you will literally have every victory you desire - or something better.

Build your own happiness affirmation today, using mine as a model. Tell yourself you are totally happy and filled with joy right now.

Even if you don’t believe it at first eventually you will! You are telling your mind how to think and feel, and with enough repetition your mind will believe you and program your reality accordingly.

Don’t believe me? No problem - I challenge you to prove me wrong.

Build a sincere happiness affirmation and say it out loud (and mean it!) three times each day for the next 6 weeks. Then if you really don’t feel happier and lighter let me know about it.

The Ultimate Technology

Monday, July 21st, 2008

The ultimate technology is not found in computer development, military installations, or even at UFO crash sites. The highest form of technology our species has access to is…

The human mind.

I intentionally didn’t say “brain” because science now believes our brain is only part of the overall mind. Granted it’s a very crucial part, but it is now known that our entire bodies contain consciousness at a cellular level.

And when we bring together the power of body awareness and our brain’s verbal language, we become capable of some really incredible things. This post is the result of recently listening to an Anthony Robbins audio program.

What I like about Robbins is his use of mental technology. He goes way beyond positive thinking and delves deeply into real, technical applications we can use to change our moods, enhance our performance, and literally master our thought patterns and emotional states!

This is super powerful information. Anything you can get your hands on by Tony Robbins - take advantage and devour it.

He combines right thinking with right action. Just listening to a short audio program I feel ready to take on anything… I can only imagine seeing him live.

In fact, Jack Canfield (another of my favorite author/speakers) talks about a Robbins seminar where 350 people walked barefoot across hot coals at the end of the weekend. That’s phenomenal, to say the least.

I urge you to check out some of the Tony Robbins (also Anthony Robbins) material available at discount pricing on Amazon. You can get most of his products in audio format as well.

Every chapter contains at least one real technique you can start using right away. And again this material usually combines physical and mental tactics to bring your full potential to bear.

You can get Tony Robbins off the shelf at your favorite book stoe as well. Just find one or more of his books and check them out for yourself. You’ll thank me for this recommendation if you take me up on it.

Proof Of Success: Your Victory Log!

Monday, July 14th, 2008

One really effective way to stay motivated and propel yourself to new levels of success is through the keeping of a success journal or victory log. This tactic gives you a sort of “hard copy” proof that you are worth believing in and that you are capable of all you desire.

You can use any kind of notepad or ringed binder for this. I recommend going offline and using an actual paper notebook for this as it gives you a more tangible list when you refer back to it later.

Here’s how it works:

Just start writing up a list of all the things you have accomplished up to this point in your business and personal life. Leave nothing out; come up with as many things as you can.

If you got a raise or started your own business, list this. If you negotiated a better rate on auto insurance, list this.

Think of all your victories. You learned to walk and graduated high school for instance. And you got “Yes” from the man/woman you are now married to. Don’t devalue any of the great thigns you have done in your life.

Try to get 100 things on your initial list and then make a habit of writing down new things a few times every week. If you make new sales on a new product launch write it down. If you get subscribers to a new list write this down. Write down positive blog comments and customer feedback as well. List anything and everything that happens toward your life goals.

Over time this journal will get pretty fat. And whenever you start to feel bummed out for lack of progress you need only open it up and get a load of all the amazing things you have done in your life!

This kind of proof, along with a positive receiver’s attitude can have a dramatic impact on the direction of your business and your life.
